Why I Create What I Create

I have always created works that represents my life experiences. Each piece depicts a snapshot in time, a journey I’ve traveled that dates back to the late 1980s. Although most works are representational, my abstract work derives from the representational usage of a canvas as a color palette. There is no attempt at determining the outcome and the only real and conscious choice being made is a predetermine spectrum of colors. My entire body of work exemplifies my passion for music, culture and the overwhelming fulfillment from working with individuals with disabilities.
